    Job Type: Full-Time Typical Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

    Job Purpose

    Superior Fence & Rail is an industry leader with multiple branch locations. We partner with a national home improvement chain, multiple home builders, and general contractors to provide professional fence installation services.

    The Delivery Driver & Shop Assistant is responsible for delivering materials to jobsites and supporting the day-to-day operations of the shop and yard. This position helps ensure installation crews receive the correct materials and supplies needed to complete projects safely and efficiently.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Safely operate a pickup truck with a 20' trailer to transport materials between the shop, yard, and jobsites.

    Load, secure, transport, and unload fencing materials and supplies.

    Pull, prepare, and verify material orders according to daily schedules.

    Receive, organize, label, and store incoming materials in the appropriate locations.

    Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the shop and yard while following all safety procedures.

    Safely cut and prepare fencing materials as needed.

    Operate the CNC router to fabricate vinyl fence.

    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard.

    Follow company safety, quality, productivity, and routing standards.

    Communicate professionally with customers, installation crews, and coworkers.

    Work efficiently and independently to meet daily schedules and deadlines.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills & Experience

    Must be able to safely drive a pickup truck with a 20' trailer.

    Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

    Previous construction experience preferred, including fencing, framing, roofing, or carpentry.

    Light carpentry or general construction experience preferred.

    Ability to safely handle and move fencing materials and equipment.

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    Ability to learn Superior Fence & Rail products, materials, equipment, and processes.

    Ability to follow instructions, company procedures, and safety regulations.

    Forklift certification preferred, but not required.

    Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Professional and respectful demeanor.

    Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
