Summary of Position:
This is a hybrid part time position depending on the shift. Delivery Driver is responsible for packing bread and pastry items into boxes as well as delivering baked goods to restaurants throughout the LA area. Weekend shift is either dropping off at the Farmer's Market or picking up.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manually loads, unloads, and delivers baked goods and supplies to local establishments
Ensures deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner
Ensures proper handling and distribution of shipping documents
Verifies product counts while loading and unloading
May include farmers market drop off and pickup of equipment (tent, tables, bins, shelving units, etc.)
Maintains commercial vehicles in a clean, safe, and operable manner
Always adheres to safe driving practices and posted speed limits
Works in other areas of bakery production/sales during delivery downtimes and as needed
Ensure vans are kept clean, some additional cleaning and maintenance may be required
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the commissary as directed by the Distributions Manager.
Qualifications:
Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
Must be at least 26 years old
Valid California Driving License
Clean Driving Record
Minimum 3 years driving experience.
Punctual, Reliable, and Responsible.
Careful, passionate and attention to details
A strong commitment to excellent customer service and food quality
Working Conditions and Expectations:
Work schedule will may vary between early morning to late evening, weekends and holidays
Shifts will range from 8 – 10 hours and you may at times be asked to work overtime
Expect 12 -15 stops covering over 50 miles.
This is not a food delivery position. Bakery provides vehicle, gas and insurance.

Physical Requirements:
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Repetitive tasks with few breaks
Be able to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours.
