Job Summary

We are seeking a Truck Driver/Shop Assistant to join our team at Armature Motor and Pump. Since 1989, we specialize in Electric Motor Repair and Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering jobs, handling shipping and receiving items, and shop assistant duties such as stocking parts. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail and a commitment to integrity.

Responsibilities

Receive and process orders

Distribute packages internally

Organize and maintain the stockroom

Make arrangements for the arrival of incoming packages and ensure there is adequate space to store them

Document products shipped and received

Resolve any issues or incorrect orders

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and internal procedures

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar position is preferred

No CDL Required

Clean driving record

Experience driving up to 10,000lbs load

High school diploma/GED

Basic math and computer skills

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
