Monumental Food is our corporate catering company here in Arlington, VA. We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a Delivery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and delicious food delivered right to their offices. Responsibilities:
Timely Delivery: Deliver catering orders promptly and efficiently to various corporate offices in the Arlington/DC metro area.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food items are properly packaged, labeled, and presented to maintain the highest quality standards.
Equipment Set-up: Unloading and loading tables and small equipment, as needed.
Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns.
Route Planning: Efficiently plan delivery routes to optimize time and minimize delays.
Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tracking and restocking supplies as needed.
Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to handle last-minute changes or additional delivery requests.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Reliability: Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry catering trays and equipment.
Customer-Focused: Friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills.
Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in order delivery and presentation.
Experience: Previous catering or food delivery experience is a plus.
Part-time positions ONLY.
Pay range is $21-$25 per hour depending upon experience.
