Relationship Development - You are the “final contact” with a Heartland customer. Their experience with you will be their final impression of Heartland and may determine whether or this customer returns and becomes a lifelong Heartland customer. You are “boots on the ground” for maintaining positive relationships with our customers.
Delivery and Installation – Making sure the appliances, of all types and brands, are in good physical condition and working order and prepared to serve the needs of our customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Shares exceptional customer service best practices with all customers while also modeling the values of Heartland Hardware, Appliance, and Repair.
Prepare appliances for loading and unloading.
Work in a team setting delivering and installing appliances.
Helping maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Operate company van safely and respectfully. Update General Manager for service or repairs.
Interact and communicate with customers and fellow Heartland employees clearly and respectfully.
Track daily/weekly jobs for payroll purposes.
Comply with all Heartland policies, procedures, and practices.
Performs tasks and assignments requested by the General Manager and ownership.

Sales Aptitude.
You are not a “Sales Associate” but when talking to customers during a delivery/install, the ability to communicate and explain the features of their new appliance effectively and efficiently helps if you have a calm, kind, respectful demeaner.
Ability to learn and grow.
The industry is constantly changing - monthly webinars and in-person training as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to regularly lift 100+ lbs.
Ability to respond appropriately under pressure.
Make a professional impression using effective verbal and written communication. Exude confidence and comfort in interacting with all associates.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
