We are looking for someone who wants to be part of an exciting and growing software company addressing obstacles in the Logistics industry, to work REMOTELY. We are innovative and want candidates excited about solving problems, taking initiative and reducing friction for customers, not the 9 to 5 person just looking for a job. We need someone who can be comfortable wearing many hats, and he/she has a desire to learn new technologies to go beyond the initial responsibilities of the position.

The preference would be for someone with a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering. However, someone who can show similar mastery with the technologies required, including an understanding of software engineering principles, would not be excluded from consideration.

As always, we need an effective communicator, oral and written.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with lead architect to configure the best UX for customers
• Work on existing platform to improve current code and UX
• Draw on experience to create new innovative UI as the platform grows
• Be able to work autonomously in the creation of UI
• Be able to work in piece together disparate systems for a strong interoperable platform
• Perform routine software maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Python, or other programming languages
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostGreSQL
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
