Position: Web Developer (Lead Liferay Developer)
Location: Tempe,AZ (Remote candidates are also acceptable)
Duration : 12 Months
Summary:
Client is seeking a Web Developer to design, code, and create system specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications. Job Responsibilities: *Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces. *Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. *Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications. *Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support. *Identify, escalate and document production impact issues. *Evaluate user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: *Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field required. *10+ years experience required. *Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. *Ability to work independently and manage one's time. *Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. *Knowledge of computer hardware and software. *Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles. *Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc. *Expertise with COBOL, MVS, CICS, JCL, or other mainframe tools and utilities.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
FULL STACK WEB PORTALS DEVELOPER LIFERAY LEAD DEVELOPER STRONG UI EXPERIENCE preferred React experience preferred Angular experience preferred JS, CS, Hibernate, Gradle, Tomcat, ICP, Cloud also preferred. Candidates will work on internal and external Web Portals on a number of different platforms, including Liferay. The current team requires some strengthening in UI/UX skills, so experience here is beneficial. 1. ***Required a. MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH LIFERAY B. MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH LIFERAY 7.X C. Experience in using Liferay APIs and customizing Liferay out of box portlets. d. Experience in using Liferay Service Builder. e. Hands on Experience in working with databases like MYSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle9i/10g and Db2 2. ***Desired a. Experience creating Angular or React based portlets b. HANDS ON EXPERIENCE ON LIFERAY MVC c. Experience creating and modifying Liferay themes d. Experience in configuring various SSO mechanisms e. Experience in configuring/deploying liferay based applications in a high-availability, clustered environment
