JOB TITLE: BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

DURATION: 07 MONTHS CONTRACT

LOCATION: LOS ANGELES, CA 90064

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll use data generated across our ecosystem to better understand our audiences and systems. Your technical skills, audience empathy, and ability to understand complex systems will ensure that we understand the effects of our work.

You will be part of our Player Support team, and will create reports and dashboards that will support people across the team in making effective decisions and that help us better understand our operational and team health. You’ll also help team members dig into data related questions and support them on emergent issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will visualize and develop dashboards and reports to help support effective decision making throughout Player Support
• You will work with stakeholders and the Product Owner of Player Support Insights to ensure that you have a strong understanding of data needs and reporting requirements
• You will partner with team members across Player Support as questions arise to answer their data-related questions and ensure they have the information to make effective decisions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Management Information Systems or a related discipline
• A minimum of two years of professional work experience in finance or consulting, developing dashboards and reporting, analyzing large data sets, visualizing information, cost modeling, and informing company strategy OR a Master’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Management Information Systems or a related discipline
• Strong business insight
• Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teammates
• Knowledgeable in SQL or other relational database approaches
• Advanced in Excel (can perform complex functions), PowerPoint, and/or Tableau
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with analysis related to support teams or operational teams
