TITLE: UMBRACO .NET PHP DEVELOPER  –CONTRACT - JOB# 3241

LOCATION: REMOTE

Our client is a supplier of electricity in the form of an RTO ( Regional Transmission Organization and an RE ( Regional Entity) . As and RTO, they ensure reliable supplies of power, adequate transmission infrastructure, and competitive wholesale prices of electricity. As an RE, they oversee compliance enforcement and reliability standards development.

Our client needs a consultant to fill the role of mid-to-senior level Content Management System (“CMS”) engineer with Umbraco, .NET and PHP experience. Umbraco CMS is currently used for images, documents, and calendar events. Umbraco environment integrates with SendGrid, and an internal application which integrates with Umbraco to sync exploder subscriptions. As part of this engagement, the consultant will work with our client to identify tasks, prioritize those tasks, develop associated level of effort, and align efforts to ongoing development sprints, utilizing Jira for sprint activity and backlog tracking

The environment that the consultant will be working in is as follows

• RESPONSIBILITIES • Upgrade Umbraco CMS to the latest revision, including .NET framework upgrade • Migrate Umbraco CMS to Azure Web Apps, and set up Autoscaling • Develop enhancements\defects\tasks to Our client's .NET based on our client's corporate web site • Develop enhancements\defects\tasks to Our client's PHP based internal ‘Facebook’ web site circuit • Prioritize development activities
