TITLE: 2945 SAP BRIM CI FICA Technical / Functional Analyst - Contact to Hire  Remote / Irvine CA. 92602

JOB DESCRIPTION:   Our client is the world's largest distributor of technology products and services. Because of explosive growth, they are creating a new business unit which is focused on cloud technologies. This business unit will help customers improve their cloud experience by using our clients proprietary platforms and as well as their marketplace to access products and services from over 2000 OEMs, re-sellers, and vendors.

  Our client needs a consultant to perform the role of SAP Technical / Functional Analyst for a minimum of 12 months with the potential of becoming a full time role. The consultant will work with multiple teams to create an extensive cutting edge financial system that will help serve our client's telecom customers. The consultant will be working on the part of the system which is designated for_ _SAP FICO ( SD) / Hybris Billing Processes. The team will be using OpenText plugins. The consultant will be involved with the integration of Vertex as well as SAP's RAR, FICA, and FSCM. The consultant will also be involved in the Offer To Cash process and it will be very helpful to have a strong understanding of business accounting principles as well as tax reporting integration.

There will be much interaction with team members via MS Teams and as this is a highly collaborative environment. the consultant will have Teams on at all times. During the months of May and June and possibly July, the consultant could likely expect to work up to 50-55 hours per week.  The consultant should expect to be available for work and meetings Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 9:00 pm EST

At this time, the consultant will be able to work remotely however, for minimally the first 6 months of this engagement, the consultant will likely be asked to work onsite in Irvine CA for approximately 5 -7 _business days _ every 6-8 weeks.

Because this system will be used to process orders in North America, Europe, and APAC, the consultant ,there may also be travel to Williamsville NY ( most likely), Toronto CN ( likely), and or Santander Spain (least likely).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The consultant will work closely with internal teams and  learn the existing business processes regarding SAP BRIM capability and Standard cloud industry best practices in order to produce the best solution possible

• Meet with stakeholders and business leads to define implementation strategies, business requirements and solution designs as they relate to Hybris Billing processes in SAP BRIM CI FICA

• Create business requirements documents, author system design documents and translate / articulate technical and functional requirements via system design documents and functional specification documents

• The consultant will perform all requirement gathering, configuration, documentation, and testing of the billing/invoicing work stream.

• Author documentation as needed to transition knowledge to end users and support staff

• Provide go-live project support and facilitate knowledge transition

• Assist with functional and integration testing of the consultant's part of the project,

• Perform configuration duties including all FICA billing and invoicing configuration, collection management, account determination configuration and correspondence design and implementation.

• Perform configuration and testing in BRIM in the areas of Convergent Invoicing and FICA for contract accounting

REQUIRED:

• 8+ years of overall SAP Finance experience and expertise
• 4+ years of continuous experience in the SAP CI/ FICA specifically performing or assisting with functional and technical configuration duties
• Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP BRIM and its most recent capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of the most recent standard cloud industry best practices
• Deep expertise and experience performing requirements gathering, configuration, documentation, and testing of the billing/invoicing work stream
• Experience with assisting with configuration activities including FICA billing and invoicing configuration, collection management, account determination configuration and correspondence design and implementation.
• Experience with RAR, FSCM, Vertex Integration and or Offer To Cash processes  
• Experience assisting with configuration and testing in BRIM in the areas of Convergent Invoicing and FICA for contract accounting
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Excellent client facing skills as they relate to working with technical and non-technical people at varying levels of expertise in the organization
• Strong business and accounting acumen, strong understanding of tax and statutory reporting integration
• 4 year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and or Computer Sciences (et al)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Must consider full time employment with our client after a 12 month engagement
• Must be able to work extended hours.
• Must be able to travel throughout the U.S. without restrictions

DESIRED:

• Accounting background and good process knowledge in cloud business is highly desired
• Cloud/Telecom industry knowledge  
• Ability to travel internationally without restrictions
• Master's Degree or above in Finance and or Accounting
