    Job Description

    Delta Apparel, Inc., along with its operating subsidiaries, DTG2Go, LLC, Salt Life, LLC, and M.J. Soffe, LLC, is a vertically-integrated, international apparel company that designs, manufactures, sources, and markets a diverse portfolio of core active wear and lifestyle apparel products under the primary brands of Salt Life®, Soffe®, and Delta.

    The INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE is responsible for achieving ambitious revenue growth objectives through inbound/outbound dialing, generating interest, qualifying prospects/customers, and closing sales; all while closely collaborating with designated field sales representative partners.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIEs:

    • Manage and grow an assigned business territory to meet monthly sales quotas.
    • Identify new sales opportunities via inbound lead qualification, outbound current customer outreach and prospecting.
    • Establish a profitable business relationship with potential, existing and former customers within assigned territory.
    • Collaborate with designated filed sales representatives to achieve a common goal.
    • Up-sell and cross-sell to current customers.
    • Close sales for new accounts and former customers.

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Understand customer needs and requirements.
    • Identify key contacts to build relationships and generate interest.
    • Capture and input orders as designated. (Data Entry)
    • Maintain and expand a database of prospects within your assigned territory.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proven inside sales experience.
    • A track record of exceeding sales quotas.
    • Strong phone presence and experience managing a high volume of inbound inquiries.
    • Highly motivated and results oriented with entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking and time management skills.
    • Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
    • Ability to work in a fast paced team sales environment.
    • Knowledge of salesforce.com or other CRM a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft office. (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
