For more information about Delta Gamma, visit our website at: www.deltagamma.org Job Summary: - To assist Fraternity, Foundation and Office of Housing volunteers and staff with customer service and support needs, processing event guidelines, letters, reports, the membership database and other projects. - To build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Executive Offices staff, Council and Cabinet. - To perform assigned duties in conformity with the Constitution and policies of the Delta Gamma Fraternity and Foundation. General Legal and Operations Functions: work with the Legal and Operations team to accomplish these functions as a team. Leadership areas will be assigned by the general counsel/director of operations. - Answer inbound telephone calls with a focus on excellence in customer service and support. - Greet visitors for the Fraternity, Foundation and Fraternity Housing Corporation. - Responsible for daily mail pick-up, opening and distribution to Executive Offices staff and Delta Gamma volunteers. - Coordination of Council, Collegiate Development Consultant and Fraternity visitors to Executive Offices (Martin Center, transportation, grocery and reservation requests). - Manage the check log for the Fraternity. - Manage Delta Gamma business machines (copiers, mail machine, fax machine, etc.). - Complete mailings for Council, Cabinet, Foundation and staff, as necessary. - Manage Mu Lamps of Knowledge programs. - Review and respond to emails sent to Delta Gamma cover email addresses. - Ability to clearly articulate the Delta Gamma Fraternity event guideline process for social events with alcohol. - Communicate with collegiate chapter officers and advisers regarding paperwork submissions and guidelines, approvals, cancellations and general questions related to events with alcohol. - Review event guideline paperwork to ensure completion and compliance with Delta Gamma Fraternity policies and procedures. - Function as the liaison between Executive Offices and outside vendors to order awards for Convention, annual Patricia Peterson Danielson awards, and other projects or events as needed. - Assist with notification of Individual Alumnae Awards and Patricia Peterson Danielson awards. - Take minutes adhering to Robert's Rules of Order during Council meetings and conference calls. Edit and distribute minutes as needed through action items. - Additional responsibilities and projects to be determined by General Counsel/Director of Operations or Executive Director. Qualifications: - Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive environments where belonging is valued. - Bachelor's Degree is preferred or 1-2 years of relevant operations and customer service experience. - Membership in Delta Gamma preferred. - Professional demeanor, with the ability to maintain highly confidential information and be customer service oriented. - Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience with MS-Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 2021/07
