SENIOR BUYER

Delta Group Electronics, a growing Electronics Manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Buyer for its San Diego location.  This person must have at least 5 years experience in purchasing and inventory control in an Electronics Manufacturing Environment. Must be proficient in MRP systems and Excel.  Aerospace and/or AS9100 experience is strongly preferred.  Candidates must have excellent communications skills and be flexible in a dynamic, fast paced setting. A sense of urgency, focus on customer service, and strong problem solving skills is required.  Must possess excellent time management skills.

Specific duties include: RFQ generation, Quote / Proposal Analysis, Negotiations, Documentation, PO generation and subcontractor / supplier follow-up. Work extensively with Integrated Product Teams including, but not limited to, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Program personnel along with other key functional groups to ensure on-time delivery of compliant product at or below program budget
