WHO ARE WE?

Delta Life Fitness - Ormond Beach is a boutique fitness studio built for women which provides 30-minute instructor-led classes throughout the day, on-site supervised kid's corner for client's children while they workout, and utilizes heart-rate monitoring systems during the workout.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The ideal candidate will be someone who is both professional and outgoing and who is self-driven. A Delta Life Fitness Membership Specialist is responsible for potential clients coming into the studio and signing them up for memberships.

We are seeking an outgoing person who is comfortable and excited about making calls to prospective members to share the excitement of the new studio in the Ormond Beach community.

The position we are hiring for currently is part time from 20-36 hours a week.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

• Extroverted personality - capable of speaking with people you do not know both in-person and over the phone.
• Comfortable working public events
• Comfortable selling memberships and products - sales experience is highly preferred
• Self-starter - must be able to operate and take initiative with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail - Does not let important details slip through the cracks
• Active on social media - willing to participate daily on our Instagram and Facebook accounts
• Team player - willing to jump in and assist other team members when and where needed for the success of the team
• Experience in a fitness-type business is preferred

WHAT DOES THE JOB CONSIST OF?

Delta Life Fitness Membership Specialists are responsible for seeking out leads, gathering leads, managing leads, and converting leads into set appointments which result in a person showing up to learn about our program. Once the prospective client is at our facility, the Sales Associate is responsible for educating the prospective client in our program and assisting the client in getting signed up for the appropriate level of membership for their fitness level.

• Get leads through community outreach, events, and guerrilla marketing techniques
• Manage leads which come through alternate sources such as social media, client referral, walk-in traffic, etc.
• Make daily, consistent calls and text messages to leads with the intent of converting the lead to a set appointment
• Provide follow-up with clients who have made appointments with the intent of converting that set appointment to a physical show
• Meet with prospective clients to educate them on the Delta Life Fitness program and convert to membership packages as best fits the client's needs
• Sell retail items
• Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of your surroundings in accordance with studio policies
• Assist fellow team-members with whatever is needed to support our mission to help reach as many women as possible within our community

WHAT WILL MY SCHEDULE BE LIKE?

You will work on-site at the Delta Life Fitness - Ormond Beach location (The Trails Shopping Center) from 10:00am to 2:00pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm Monday through Friday with some deviation where needed, and some Saturdays from 7:45am to 11:45am. You will be making calls, texts and emails in order to drive set appointments and shows and giving Sweat Free Tours to walk-ins and working with the coaching staff for Free Trial Classes

Schedules are flexible.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO BE PAID?

Starting pay is $10-$12/hour with 10% commissions paid on every membership conversion made. Other bonuses and commissions are available based on performance.
