    Shifts Needed: Day

    Days | Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p

    In the role of Composite Technician, your primary responsibility will involve comprehending technical schematics and blueprints, and employing precision tools accordingly.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Perform the lay-up of fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, and similar materials.
    • Execute ply cutting and orientation layup tasks.
    • Carry out de-bulking and vacuum bagging procedures for tooling and parts.
    • Pot and bond materials as required.
    • Mix resins and hardeners to precise manufacturer specifications.
    • Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and work instructions.
    • Utilize and interpret work order travelers and manufacturing plans effectively.
    • Meet established quality and production targets.
    • Provide assistance with training or startups when necessary (travel may be involved).
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and ITAR standards.
    • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.

    Skills Required:

    • Basic proficiency with hand tools such as sanders, angle grinders, straight grinders, and paint guns.

    Experience Needed:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in laying up or working with materials such as epoxy, fiberglass, carbon fiber, BMI, graphite, or Kevlar.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with vacuum bagging of tools or parts, operating industrial-sized ovens, or managing autoclaves.
    • General understanding of ply orientation.
