    Shifts Needed: Day or Night

    Days | Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p Nights | Monday- Friday 4p-2:45a + Saturday 12p-6p

    In the role of Tool Builder, your primary responsibility will be the construction of tools or fixtures aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of final products.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Implement tool builds according to manufacturing plans and blueprints, particularly for medium to highly complex projects.
    • Conduct drilling and tapping of holes as required.
    • Handle a diverse range of projects with established deadlines.
    • Attain established quality and production targets.
    • Potential for travel may exist.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and ITAR standards.
    • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

    Required Skills:

    • Proficient oral and written communication abilities.
    • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
    • Self-motivated while being receptive to guidance.
    • Familiarity with all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and work instructions.
    • Capability to interpret intricate blueprints.
    • Competence in identifying and locating specifications within provided blueprints.
    • Understanding of geometric tolerances, including recognition of various symbols.
    • Proficiency in general tolerances and ability to comprehend basic sections and views.
    • Familiarity with reference systems and Enovia.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace tooling.
    • Proficiency in operating a range of manual machines, including lathes, presses, grinders, and Bridgeports (though not mandatory).
