Job Description

DeltaTrak has an immediate need for a Sustaining Engineer to work in our Manufacturing facility. This individual shall be tasked to work on production support and production automation of small electronic sensors. The position shall be tightly coupled with our R&D team during the design and the integration phases of automation tools and software, used in the production processes. In addition, this job shall require constant monitoring of the current production processes in order to discover and address any assembly steps with poor yield, quality problems or general inefficiency.

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of 3 Yrs. Work experience in the production process of electronic products and technical understanding of production automation with robotic arms and automated assembly lines. The qualified candidate must possess a BS degree or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer sciences.

Desired work experience with: 

• Mechanical components used in production process automation
• Electronics circuits diagrams and Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
• Electronics Troubleshooting
• Hand-soldering
• Circuit test equipment
• Intermediate knowledge of commuter programming
• Intermediate knowledge of Databases
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Technical writing of specifications and assembly instructions
• Creation of floor plans and production process diagrams

Desirable skills: 

• E-Draw or MS Visio Software
• Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• C# or C/C++ or VB programming (intermediate level)
• SQL Server Databases (intermediate level)
• CAD software for Mechanical design ( Solidworks preferred) (Entry level)
• CAD software for PCB design (Pads or OrCad) (entry level)
