Job Description
The Demand-Side Resource (DSR) Coordinator is responsible for independently coordinating, managing, and optimizing continuous improvement of demand-side resource (DSR) programs, including demand response, energy efficiency, and distributed energy resource (DER) initiatives. This role requires a high degree of initiative, strategic thinking, and discretion in decision making. This role serves as a subject matter resource, leading the development and implementation of program enhancements while supporting meaningful member engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Program Administration & Support
- Lead development and assist in refining program workflows and internal documentation to support the administration of demand-side initiatives.
- Create and maintain accurate records of program participation, enrollment, and compliance documentation.
- Support cross-functional coordination with internal departments and member cooperatives to ensure consistent program delivery.
- Recommend process improvements based on feedback, research, and program results.
Member Engagement & Communications
- Serve as a resource for cooperative members, helping to answer questions and guide them through program participation.
- Develop communication strategies and educational materials to promote program awareness and engagement.
- Represent the organization at events, meetings, and conferences, exercising discretion in messaging and relationship management.
- Research & analyze member needs and industry best practices to inform engagement strategies.
Data Collection & Reporting
- Collect and manage program performance and participation data to support reporting and analysis.
- Assist with developing dashboards and summary reports using tools such as Excel and Salesforce.
- Research & identify trends in program data to help inform future improvements.
- Recommend minor adjustments based on data insights and observations.
- Interpret program data to identify areas for operational improvements.
Team & Administrative Support
- Assist with internal administrative tasks, project tracking, and program coordination efforts as assigned.
- Participate in team planning meetings, cross-functional collaboration, and training opportunities to expand knowledge and build experience in the energy sector.
