What You’ll Do Every Day
- Serve Demco’s customers by placing orders, preparing quotes, providing invoice copies, and answering questions regarding the status of orders
- Provide solutions and assist customers by answering questions and troubleshooting issues they have about our websites, products, promos, shipping, etc.
- Provide accurate information to customers regarding lead times, back orders, and discontinued items
- Provide value to our customers and increase revenue by making decisions to ensure customer satisfaction, including offering promotions and upsells
- Handle customer contacts via phone, mail, fax, internet, and email for multiple brands
- Make outbound calls to customers to follow up on missing information and order discrepancies
- Complete order entry and data hygiene in between phone calls
- Provide job shadowing for new trainees and other Demco coworkers
- Work together with internal customers to solve customer problems
What You’ll Bring to Demco
- At least 4 years of experience in customer service; experience working in a call center assisting customers navigating e-commerce websites and offering promotions and upselling preferred
- Strong PC knowledge
- Above average typing speed with outstanding accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This position offers a Monday through Friday work schedule, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is conveniently located on the east side of Madison. Training for the position will be done onsite throughout the first 6 months. After all training is complete you would have the ability to work remotely.
