As a Product Development Specialist , your talents will help support and lead cross-functional teams from conception of new proprietary products all the way through launch to create the solutions that educators and librarians need to do the amazing work they do.

What you’ll do

• Work in collaboration with Design, Product, Marketing, Sales, Materials Management, and Customer Success teams to support the development of proprietary product solutions — primarily focused on K­­–12 environments with additional focus on Public and Higher Education environments
• Maintain positive business relationships with key manufacturers
• Assist in defining product, pricing, positioning, and promotion strategies
• Impact profit and loss (P&L) by developing high-margin proprietary solutions

What we’re looking for in a candidate

• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
• 2+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of educational markets
• Good communication skills to support collaboration on all project details
• A keen understanding of business finances
