Company Overview
We are a full-service fire and water restoration company with over 30 years of industry experience. We specialize in emergency mitigation, demolition, cleanup, and reconstruction services for residential and commercial properties. The majority of our work is assigned through insurance carriers, TPAs, property managers, and other referral partners.
Position Summary
The Demolition Laborer supports restoration and reconstruction projects by performing controlled demolition, site preparation, debris removal, and cleanup activities following fire, water, and mold losses. This position requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work in fast-paced, sometimes hazardous environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform demolition of damaged materials including drywall, flooring, cabinetry, insulation, and other structural components
Remove debris and dispose of materials in accordance with job specifications and safety standards
Set up containment and protection barriers as directed
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
Assist with jobsite preparation and cleanup throughout the project lifecycle
Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and OSHA guidelines
Work collaboratively with mitigation, contents, and reconstruction teams
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements
Previous demolition, construction, or restoration experience preferred
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 80+ pounds on a regular basis
Comfortable working in environments affected by fire, water, or mold damage
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible weekend shifts
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record preferred
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting
Exposure to dust, debris, noise, and varying weather conditions
Use of personal protective equipment required
