Job Title: Demolition Crew Lead

Location: Lexington, KY

Job Type: Full-Time

Introduction: Demolition Magicians is a leading demolition company, looking for a skilled and experienced Demolition Crew Lead to oversee and execute demolition projects with precision and safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in demolition operations and be adept at managing teams, planning demolition processes, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the demolition crew.
• Plan and oversee the execution of demolition projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments prior to commencing demolition work.
• Ensure all safety protocols and environmental regulations are followed.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to effectively manage the demolition process.
• Manage equipment and materials inventory, ensuring all tools and machinery are maintained and in good working condition.
• Train new crew members and provide ongoing training and support to all team members.
• Handle emergency situations effectively, implementing contingency plans as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Demolition Crew Lead or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction and demolition principles, techniques, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Certification in safety training and other relevant qualifications.
• Physically fit to participate in demolition activities as needed.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in construction, engineering, or related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a demolition environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
