    Job Description

    The Procurement Associate will be part of a client procurement service delivery team, driving the operational procurement process (from PR to PO) in accordance with client specific operating guidelines. Specific requirements may include validation of the PR fields, assisting stakeholders in generating the PR, validation of contracts, invoice reconciliation, SOW drafting, vendor selection, etc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES Sourcing Execution: 

    • Provides sourcing services (RFP, RFI, FRQ) to our clients based on predefined service levels, managing intermediate to complex IT sourcing projects simultaneously
    • Lead and execute the Denali’s strategic sourcing process from start to finish, e.g., RFx development, reverse auctions, spend analysis, supplier market analysis
    • Evaluate project scope and determine sourcing approach and methodology to be applied; develop and/or customize various templates including RFx, pricing, and proposal evaluation
    • Develop contract negotiation strategy and lead negotiation sessions with suppliers to finalize and sign contract
    • Perform in depth analysis of proposals submitted, draw conclusions, prepare comprehensive summaries, and present back to the client in a concise manner
    • Collaborate with Client Category managers to develop and execute category strategy by analyzing supplier spend and identifying preferred supplier across Business Units and Geographies
    • Collaborate with Client Category Managers and/or Denali SMEs on project strategy and tailor sourcing execution based on direction provided by them
    • Manage communications with vendors to ensure execution of the category strategy developed
    • Collaborate with Client Category Managers in Service Level Agreement (SLA) tracking, scorecard development, problem resolution/escalation arising from supplier performance issues for Indirect categories
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation
    • Identify areas of process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to management, including development of templates and job aids to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Denali’s processes
    • Coaching, transferring knowledge, and developing team members to be more effective in their current roles
    • Conduct peer reviews for other team member’s projects and check for quality, consistency and compliance with Denali methodology and client specific requirements
    • Create and manage reverse auctions with minimal supervision

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required. Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or Supply Chain is preferred
    • Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management is preferred
    • 1-3 years of related work experience with at least 1 year in procurement / sourcing and vendor management in a client delivery environment
