    Multi-Location Private Dental Group | Business Office Based

    A growing, well-run private dental group in Northern Utah is seeking a full-time A/R & Insurance Verification Specialist to join its centralized Business Office in Woods Cross, UT , with the ability to work onsite at dental practices in Herriman, Murray, and South Jordan when needed.

    This role sits at the intersection of revenue protection and patient experience. Clean insurance verification and disciplined A/R follow-up are essential to keeping a dental organization financially healthy and operationally strong.

    What We're Looking For

    • 1–3+ years of dental insurance, billing, A/R, or verification experience

    • Working knowledge of:

      • PPO and Medicaid insurance plans
      • Eligibility and benefits verification
      • Claims submission and follow-up
      • EOB review and underpayment identification
      • Insurance aging reports
    • Detail-oriented and process-driven

    • Clear communicator with insurance carriers and internal teams

    • Willing and able to travel between practice locations as needed
      (This is not a remote role)

    Core Responsibilities

    Accounts Receivable (A/R)

    • Monitor and work insurance aging reports
    • Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
    • Submit corrections, appeals, and documentation requests
    • Maintain accurate claim notes and documentation
    • Communicate trends or recurring payer issues to leadership

    Insurance Verification

    • Verify patient eligibility, benefits, frequency limitations, and coverage breakdowns
    • Confirm Medicaid eligibility and authorization requirements
    • Document benefits accurately and clearly for front office teams
    • Identify coverage discrepancies before treatment is rendered
    • Support offices in reducing claim denials through proactive verification

    You will primarily work from the Woods Cross business office , but flexibility to provide on-site support at practice locations is essential.

    Compensation & Schedule

    • Hourly Pay Range: $15–$19/hour , based on experience
    • Full-time, W-2 position
    • Benefits available
    • Standard business-office schedule with occasional clinic-based days
