About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at SmileSpace as a Dental Administrative Assistant in the heart of Harlem. This role is vital in ensuring our dental practice runs smoothly and efficiently while providing excellent patient service. This role allows for an advancement position as an assistant office manager/office manager
Responsibilities:
Manage patient appointments and scheduling for optimal office flow
Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
Maintain accurate patient records and dental charts
Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-ups
Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed
Ensure a clean and organized reception area
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental administration is a plus
Proven experience in a dental office or similar administrative role
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in dental software
Detail-oriented with a patient-centric approach
