Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the dentist during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and help maintain an organized and efficient clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms

Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with New Jersey regulations

Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Follow strict infection control and OSHA guidelines

Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant certification preferred (NJ requirements followed)

X-ray license required (or willingness to obtain)

Prior dental assisting experience is a plus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of Dentrix dental software systems is a plus
