    Join a team making a difference! Oral Health Partnership (OHP) is a nonprofit children’s dental program that provides preventative, diagnostic, and restorative dental services to uninsured and underinsured children ages 0-19. We provide care at our dental clinics, in schools, and at hospitals in Green Bay and surrounding areas.

    We are in search of dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Dental Assistants to join our devoted team of professionals in achieving our mission of “changing the lives of our communities' children through access to excellent oral health services and education.”

    Signing Bonus Qualification: A qualified Dental Assistant candidate will have recent chair-side assisting experience.

    Pay Range: Starting pay is $20/hour with no to little experience. Additional pay is commensurate with recent experience, multiple years of experience, and/or certification. Candidates with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

    Requirements:

    Review the health history of patients

    Ensure op rooms are set up and meet OHP standards for each patient visit

    Prepare and assist Dentist/Hygienist during patient visit

    Educate patient/parents regarding procedure(s) and/or next processes

    Accurately chart patient information, record dates, and charges within the Dentrix system

    Ensure equipment is working properly and coordinate with Operational Coordinator for any repairs needed

    Perform clinical procedures (e.g. X-rays and other tasks as directed by Dentist/Hygienist)

    Assist with patient concerns as needed

    Ensure inventory is stocked and rotated by expiration date

    Successfully achieve daily/weekly/monthly tasks as assigned

    Perform ongoing training as needed, including OSHA, HIPAA, and CPR

    Other duties as assigned

    Reports to: Clinical Manager

    Classification: Full Time or Part Time

    Preferred Education: Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA)

    Beneficial Experience:

    Minimum of one-year experience preferred

    Use of Dentrix charting software

    Use of Dexis radiography software

    Experience working with children or teens preferred

    Strong organizational and multitasking skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Language Requirements: English. Bilingual in Spanish, Hmong, or Somali beneficial.

    Physical Requirements: OHP service sites are dynamic and fast-paced working environments that often require lifting and moving equipment. Continuous movement throughout the clinic to include sitting, standing, and walking.
