    Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) – Pediatric Dentistry Dental Kidds | Blaine & Coon Rapids, MN | Full-Time Love working with kids? Ready to make a difference every single day? We’re looking for a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA)—or someone graduating and eligible for licensure within the next 3 months—to join our upbeat, kid-focused team! At Dental Kidds, you’ll be more than just an assistant—you’ll be a part of creating positive, confidence-building dental experiences for children. We’re seeking someone who is skilled, compassionate, and brings great energy to the room. Our Blaine and Coon Rapids clinics are designed to help kids feel safe, comfortable, and even excited about going to the dentist. And we believe that starts with a team that truly enjoys what they do. Schedule: Monday–Thursday: • 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM • 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM • 7:00/7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Friday: • 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM One Saturday per month: Responsibilities: • Prepare and organize sterilized instruments, supplies, and materials for dental procedures • Chairside assist dentists and hygienists during examinations and treatments • Perform pediatric prophylaxis (Pedo Prophies) • Float assist across rooms as needed • Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and postoperative care • Record vital signs, update medical histories, and maintain accurate patient records • Sterilize and disinfect equipment and maintain infection control standards • Schedule follow-up appointments and provide clear treatment explanations to patients Qualifications: • Current Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) certification in Minnesota (or eligible soon) • Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program (CODA) • Current BLS/CPR certification • Experience using dental software and digital radiography • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • A warm, team-first attitude and a commitment to patient comfort and care Compensation: $21 - $33 hourly
