    Specialty office is seeking a self-motivated, driven dental assistant with experience/expertise in 4 handed dentistry who strives to attain the best level in patient care! Must have chairside experience as well as have an excellent work ethic, be dependable, organized, and possess efficient and effective multi-tasking skills, and a team player mentality. Your role will be integral in helping provide superior dental care while supporting our doctors and dental team in all areas of patient care. Your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and knowledge of dentistry will enable you to speak clearly and in confidence to the patient in your care. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and calming environment for patients while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Hours Monday-Thursday 7:20-5:00. Benefits such as health insurance, dental benefits, 401K with company matching, as well as a generous production based bonus. Pay is based on education and experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist endodontist during procedures and surgeries
    • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize treatment room and dental instruments, stock treatment rooms
    • Take quality x-rays
    • Provide patient education on post-operative care
    • Perform digital dental charting and maintain accurate patient records
    • Keep sterilization room clean, and organized
    • 4 handed dentistry and be able manage patient flow

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • 4 handed dentistry
    • Strong dental knowledge, documentation skills, including accurate and detailed note-taking
    • Ability to perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and checking medical history for issues
    • Highly functioning in a fast paced environment
    • Strong Team player, Strong communication skills.
    • Familiarity with CBCT CT scan is a plus
