    Position Overview

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented, personable, and motivated Front Office Team Member who also has chairside assisting experience. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and hands-on clinical involvement. You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations—from welcoming patients and coordinating treatment to assisting chairside when needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assisting Duties:

    Assist the dentist during procedures, including implant and restorative treatments.

    Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize operatories and instruments.

    Take digital x-rays, intraoral scans, and photos when needed.

    Support lab case management and digital workflows.

    Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort.

    Front Office Duties:

    Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression.

    Schedule and confirm appointments in Open Dental.

    Verify insurance, collect copays, and prepare treatment estimates.

    Manage phone calls, emails, and recall/confirmation systems.

    Coordinate new patient intake, consent forms, and financial arrangements.

    Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA protocols.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience (hybrid assisting experience preferred).

    Proficient in Open Dental (required).

    Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance coordination.

    Strong communication and multitasking skills.

    Warm, professional, and team-oriented demeanor.

    X-ray license and DA or RDA certification (preferred but not required).
