Responsibilities include assisting our dental staff with examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. Responsibilities: • Give patients advice on a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile • Get the patient area ready for any examinations or procedures by preparing equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and sanitizing and laying out dental instruments • Provide postoperative instructions to patients so they are informed about how to care for their teeth and gums after procedures to prevent infection • Record each patients treatment information during their visit and ensure dental records have the most current information • Aid dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist • Help manage and create social media content • Assist the front office with administrative duties during downtime Qualifications: • Basic data entry and computer skills • Associate’s degree from an accredited dental assistance program required • Have the ability to give patients exceptional care and service • Superb multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills Compensation: $30,000 - $40,000 yearly
