    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.

    • Prepare patients for dental work, including taking and recording medical histories and vital signs.

    • Hand instruments and materials to the dentist and keep patients' mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devices.

    • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.

    • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies and materials.

    • Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare.

    • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).

    • Manage patient scheduling and appointment reminders.

    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

    • Perform office management tasks such as billing, payment processing, and insurance claims.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a dental assistant or relevant education/training

    • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.

    • Understanding of health and safety regulations.

    • Ability to perform dental procedures with accuracy and efficiency

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Ability to work well in a team environment

    • Proficiency with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus

    • Certification or licensure as a dental assistant may be required in some states

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols

    • Day shift:

    ○ 7:30am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday

    ○ 7:30am-12:00pm Friday
