Job Summary We are seeking a part-time dental assistant, with the potential for the position to become full-time in the future. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist, sterilizing and preparing instruments, taking patient x-rays, and performing other administrative duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others. Must be bilingual, fluent in both ENGLISH AND SPANISH (SPANISH IS A MUST)
Days and hours: Mondays and Thursdays, 9AM-5:30PM, and Saturdays 8AM-3:30PM(as needed)
Compensation based on experience, starting payrate $21 per hour
Responsibilities:
Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
Maintain patient records and update patient information
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Prepare patients for treatment
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Take and process X-rays
Keep the dental office clean and organized
Ensure infection control and maintain a clean workspace
Qualifications
Previous experience as a dental assistant (1-2 years)
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to provide high-quality patient care
