Dental Assistant position has the following responsibilities and duties:
Assisting dentists, orthodontists and hygienists during treatments by handling tools and materials
Providing comfort to patients before, during, and after treatments
Taking down vital indicators such as pulse and blood pressure are measured and recorded
Checking patients in, leading them to exam rooms or seats, and assisting them in getting situated in for their visit
Educating patients about post-procedure care
Educating patients about appropriate oral hygiene.
Exposing and processing X-rays under the dentist’s supervision
Clean and prepare treatment rooms, Sterilize and disinfect equipment per OSHA, CDC, EPA, and OSAP guidelines.
Performs allowed chairside procedures
Tray set-ups for bonding and debond procedures
Perform high quality clinical procedures as licenses allow and as assigned by doctor including scanning impressions, x-rays, placing bands, etc.
Accurately complete all necessary and appropriate clinical charting of the patient’s status, visit, hygiene and next visit
Perform lab work as needed for retainers and appliances

We are interested in Orthodontic Dental Assistants who have at least the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Must be available to work Full Time and available for Saturday shifts
2-3 Year experience as Dental Assistant highly desirable
DA/RDA certification or license highly desirable
Bi-lingual English/Spanish highly desirable
