We're looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable dental assistant who loves working with children and families.

    Job Summary:

    The Pediatric Dental Assistant will support our dentist in providing exceptional care to our young patients. This role involves assisting during procedures, helping children feel at ease, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and ensuring the office runs smoothly day-to-day.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism

    • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials

    • Assist the pediatric dentist during procedures (including cleanings, exams, sealants, fillings, etc.)

    • Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos

    • Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and post-op instructions

    • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory areas

    • Maintain accurate patient records and charting

    • Monitor and manage dental inventory and supplies

    • Support a calm, playful, and reassuring environment for kids

    • Assist with front desk tasks when needed

    Qualifications:

    • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA) certification in California

    • Pediatric dental experience preferred but not required—willing to train the right person!

    • Current CPR/BLS certification

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

    • A true love for working with children and making dental visits positive and fun
