Dental Assistant (Perio)– Flexible Part-Time | Hanover and/or York | $23–$30/hr
At Pennsylvania Perio & Implants, we are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our growing private specialty practice in York and Hanover, PA.
We know that not every great candidate is looking for the exact same schedule, so we are intentionally keeping this position flexible. We are open to someone who wants to work just 1 day per week, or someone looking for up to 4 days per week. We are also open to candidates who prefer York only, Hanover only, or a combination of both locations.
We are a specialty periodontal office, but we also try to create a workplace that feels supportive, respectful, and team-oriented. We value people who are dependable, kind to patients, and take pride in doing things well.
This role is primarily clinical, but one of the things that makes our office unique is that there may also be an opportunity for optional front-office and administrative training for someone who is interested in expanding their skills over time.

Pay
$23.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
What we are looking for

Have dental assisting experience
Are professional, reliable, and patient-focused
Work well with others and communicate clearly
Are interested in a flexible part-time opportunity
Have X-ray certification, or are otherwise qualified for radiographic duties X-ray certification is strongly preferred
Experience in periodontics, oral surgery, or implants is helpful, but not required. We are open to speaking with a range of candidates, including those who are looking to grow in a specialty setting.
Responsibilities
Assist chairside during periodontal and implant procedures
Prepare and break down treatment rooms
Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
Take radiographs and support clinical diagnostics
Help create a smooth, calm, professional patient experience
Maintain accurate clinical records
For interested candidates, learn selected front-office responsibilities as part of cross-training
