About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional chair side assistance, ensuring infection control, and maintaining accurate medical and dental records. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on pediatric and general dentistry, utilizing advanced dental technology and EMR systems. Prior experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols, contributing to a safe and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during various procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, orthodontics
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials using aseptic
techniques
Operate and manage dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines
Take vital signs and medical history of patients, especially in pediatric dentistry settings
Manage electronic health records using EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and records
Perform chairside assisting including four-handed dentistry techniques and medical imaging procedures
Maintain infection control standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA
guidelines
Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practice
Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license. or certification required
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental assisting procedures
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Experience with chair side assisting in various specialties
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. This position offers a rewarding environment for those passionate about providing high-quality dental care.
We have 2 locations so there may be a few days a month to commute to our Corona location.
Requirements:
Valid California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required
Current CPR/BLS certification
Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and chairside assisting techniques
