We are seeking a qualified, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. This role is essential to delivering high-quality care and creating a welcoming, efficient experience for our patients. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred, as a large portion of our patient population is Spanish-speaking. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a team, takes feedback well, and is committed to maintaining a smooth and professional clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients into the treatment area and help them feel comfortable and at ease
Assist the dentist during exams and procedures efficiently and attentively
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are sterilized and ready
Explain treatment plans and post-care instructions clearly, answering patient questions as needed
Maintain cleanliness and adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols
Support scheduling and administrative tasks as needed to keep the office running smoothly
Communicate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
Strong communication and patient service skills
Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable receiving feedback and working collaboratively as part of a team
