Dental Assistant – Pediatric Dentistry (5+ Years Experience) Smiles + Grins Pediatric Dentistry – Upper East Side, NYC

Do you love working with kids and bringing good energy to work every day? Smiles + Grins is a modern, fun, and friendly pediatric dental practice on the Upper East Side, and we’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our upbeat, supportive team.

We believe great dentistry starts with a happy team and a positive atmosphere.

Schedule:

Wednesdays & Thursdays

One Saturday per month

Fridays coming soon

Pay: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience a big plus)

Comfortable, patient, and confident working with children

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Strong chairside assisting skills

Knowledge of sterilization and infection control

What You’ll Be Doing:

Chairside assisting during pediatric dental procedures (4 handed dentistry)

Preparing and turning over operatories

Taking digital X-rays

Helping kids feel calm, safe, and even excited about their visits

Managing overall flow of the clinical staff and patients

Keeping the clinical area clean, organized, and running smoothly

Assisting with entering clinical treatment notes, troubleshooting xrays, updating inventory.
