    We are seeking a talented Dental Assistant excited about an exciting opportunity at Third Street Dental in German Village. Your main role will involve providing outstanding patient care to ensure their satisfaction. Your tasks will consist of supporting the dentist during patient visits and treatments. Responsibilities: • Greet and assist patients efficiently with appointment scheduling • Ensure treatment rooms are fully equipped with tools and supplies before patient appointments • Provide necessary instruments and materials to support the dentist during procedures • Take accurate X-ray images for patient records • Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation • Assist doctor during all procedures to ensure proper excellent patient care is administered • Assistant must be able to make temporaries in 5-10 minutes which fit properly and look esthetically pleasing • Perform laboratory tasks including making impressions, crafting temporary crowns, and fabricating teeth-whitening trays • Educate patients on oral care practices and offer preventive care guidance Qualifications: • To be considered for this Dental Assistant position in Columbus, OH, applicants must have 1-2 years of prior experience working as a Dental Assistant • THIS POSITION REQUIRES DENTAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE WITH A RADIOLOGY LICENSE! • Responsibilities include providing clinical support to the dentist during procedures, managing supplies, taking X-rays, and assisting with suctioning and patient care • Applicants should have prior experience providing excellent patient care in a dental clinical setting • The role involves scheduling and confirming patient appointments accurately • Candidates will be expected to set up treatment rooms with the necessary dental instruments, materials, and medications for each procedure • Duties also include performing laboratory tasks like pouring up models and sculpting dental temporaries as well as making sure they fit and feel comfortable for the patient. • Additionally, the Dental Assistant will be involved in patient education and offering guidance on preventive oral care • Being cross-trained with the front office and Open Dental would be an additional bonus qualification Compensation: $25 - $28 hourly
