Dental Expressions is a boutique private practice in Bayside, NY. Our office is looking for a motivated Dental Hygienist to join our growing team!

About Us: Dr. Gary Bram has practiced at the same location in Queens for over 25 years. Our beautiful cobblestone building, built in 1906, was recently named a city landmark after several years of renovations. Dr. Bram is a member of several professional dental organizations, including the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and is a Diplomat of the International Dental Implant Association. Our team delivers comprehensive, expert dental care while creating a compassionate and friendly environment for our patients.

Schedule: Mondays, 9:00am-4:00pm Thursdays, 9:00am-7:00pm Alternate Saturdays, 9:00am-2:00pm There may be an opportunity for more days if desired.

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly explain dental treatment to patients and check for understanding

Take patient X-rays and update medical history

Discuss treatment that has not been completed in chart with patients

Chart findings in Dentrix management system

Take Itera scan on all new patients

Responsible for hygiene operatory and instrument sterilization

Schedule recall appointments in treatment room

Qualifications:

Valid NY Dental Hygiene license

Must be experienced in soft tissue management and educating patients about periodontal therapy, if needed

Proficient in Zoom, sealants, and night guards
