We are a privately owned, high-performing dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Financial Coordinator to take full ownership of our insurance, billing, and patient financial systems.
This is NOT a front desk or entry-level position. We are looking for a confident, detail-oriented professional who can independently manage all aspects of insurance, billing, and financial communication with patients.
If you are someone who understands dental insurance deeply, can interpret ledgers without hesitation, and can communicate financials clearly and confidently—this is a high-impact role with strong compensation.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Accurate, detailed insurance verification (frequencies, downgrades, limitations, exclusions)
Treatment plan financial presentation with clarity and confidence
Claims submission, tracking, and resolution
Patient ledger accuracy, auditing, and reconciliation
Identifying and correcting discrepancies between EOBs and ledgers
Handling patient billing questions and resolving concerns professionally
Reducing and preventing unexpected patient balances
Maintaining organized, efficient financial systems
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 3+ years of dental insurance and billing experience
Strong understanding of PPO plans and EOB interpretation
Ability to read and confidently explain a patient ledger
Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing finances with patients
Comfortable handling difficult billing conversations with professionalism
Highly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and take ownership of this role
