Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Job Type: Part-Time (Monday-Wednesday, 7:30am-5:30pm)

Pay: $37-47 per hour

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in promoting oral health and creating positive patient experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients and is passionate about patient education and preventive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
• Conduct oral health assessments and document findings
• Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Assist the dentist in identifying and addressing oral health concerns
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Colorado
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
• Prior experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
