About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.

Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records.

Manage infection control protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.

Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

Valid state license to practice dental hygiene in Pennsylvania.

Associate's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent education.

Experience in a dental office preferred but not required.

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records.
