We’re hiring a dental hygienist who can help us provide incredible dental care to each of our patients! You’ll conduct preliminary dental exams, help dentists with examinations and procedures, and perform thorough dental cleanings so patients walk out with a smile. Responsibilities: • Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily • Make impressions of patients’ teeth to ensure their mouthguards, dentures, etc. are made correctly • Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease • Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned • Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment • Must feel comfortable educating patients on needed treatment and helping them move forward Qualifications: • Valid CPR certification • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills • 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work • In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations • Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state • I understand that if I do not have a Texas State License to practice dental hygiene, I cannot be considered and will not apply. Compensation: $42 - $46 hour
