About Us: Dental Care of Waldorf is a leading dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting optimal oral health for our patients.

Compensation: You will be offered a choice between a per hour minimum or percentage of collections. You will be able to select whichever is greater after one quarter (3 months). This structure reduces your risk while increasing team cohesiveness.

NOTE: We are open 7 days per week, custom scheduling available. We will work directly with you for your preferred set of weekly hours. Traditional 9-5? Morning only? Evening Only? Weekends? All available to fit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain oral health.

Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical and dental history

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions.

Assist in diagnosing and treating periodontal conditions in collaboration with the dentist.

Take digital X-rays and document findings accurately in patient records.

Maintain strict infection control procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.

Provide a comfortable and reassuring experience for patients of all ages.

Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Qualifications:

Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.

Current CPR certification.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Experience with Open Dental software and digital X-ray technology is a plus.
