Responsibilities: Work closely with our dentists to accurately diagnose and provide personalized care for each patient Choose appropriate materials and tools for dental cleanings based on individual oral health assessments Perform thorough dental cleanings by removing deposits and stains on teeth and below the gum line Identify potential oral diseases through oral cancer screenings, gum examinations, and radiographic studies Halt tooth decay by administering fluoride treatments and other preventive measures Demonstrate a strong commitment to proactive patient-centered care Work effectively within a team, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills Execute all necessary clinical procedures, including cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and fluoride applications Qualifications: Current dental hygienist license in Minnesota or Wisconsin, and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (or soon to graduate from dental hygiene school) Experience working with children Passionate about making a difference in the life of a child Likes to have fun and enjoys teamwork Solid working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices CPR certified Experience working with teams Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Upbeat and positive attitude Compensation: $48 - $55 per hour
