Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
• Conduct patient assessments and document clinical notes
• Dental Radiographs
• Administer local anesthesia as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Treat periodontal disease
• Follow and maintain excellent patient care
• Infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care

Skills:

• Proficient in dental coding
• Ability to perform patient assessments and record vital signs
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
• Familiarity with dental office procedures and equipment
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
• Experience assisting dentists during examinations
• Familiarity with Dental Software and digital radiology
