Responsibilities: • Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home after undergoing an operation or procedure • Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases • Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible • Prevent tooth decay by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, such as fluoride • Document patient visits and keep health records current Qualifications: • Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued • In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations • Superb customer service and communication skills • Capable of standing all day to assist patients • 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work Compensation: $65 - $70 hourly
