Salary and Benefits – Dental Hygienist in Mechanicsburg, PA

• $43.00 to $50.00 Per Hour (Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities – Community-Based Dental Hygienist:

• Four Days Per Week
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Provide Comprehensive Preventive Dental Care, Including:
• Dental Cleanings (Prophylaxis
• Fluoride Treatments
• Sealants (Especially for Pediatric Patients)
• Periodontal Scaling and Root Planing
• Oral Hygiene Instruction and Education
• Conduct Assessments and Assist With Diagnostic Imaging (Bitewing, Panoramic X-Rays)
• Educate Patients on Oral Health as Part of Integrated Medical/Dental Care
• Support the Dentist in Providing High-Quality, Compassionate Treatment
• Provide Emergency Hygiene Care for Walk-In or Non-Established Patients
• Participate in Outreach and Community Dental Education Efforts as Needed

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RDH License
• Graduate of an Accredited Dental Hygiene Program (Associate or Bachelor’s Degree)
• New Graduates Welcome to Apply!
• CPR/BLS Certification (or Willing to Obtain Within 90 Days of Hire)
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and Proof of Auto Insurance (for Occasional Outreach)
• Local Anesthesia Certification (Preferred but Not Required)
• Strong Communication Skills and a Passion for Serving Diverse, Low-Income Populations
• Commitment to Providing Patient-First, Community-Focused Care
